Biography
Kevin McAdams is a singer/songwriter and member of the indie rock band Elefant. He is based in New York City.
Kevin collaborated with Shawn Christensen (of Stellastarr*) to create the song “Castaway” in response to Sparrow Hall’s short story, Two Blue Wolves. The song is featured on the Two Blue Wolves Soundtrack.
Kevin and Shawn went to the same high school in upstate New York, and befriended one another while working at a local movie theater. Soon they began writing music together as a hobby. That hobby would soon grow into two of the most well-known bands of the New York Scene, Elefant and Stellastarr*. Each band would go on to receive critical acclaim, booking dates around the globe, and often times sharing the same stage.
Now, Kevin and Shawn have returned to their roots, taking all they’ve learned and infusing it into a brand new sound that draws from the best of both worlds.
In May 2009, Kevin released his solo album It's My Time To Lose My Mind, co-produced by longtime friend and Elefant bandmate, Mod. Kevin continues to play with Elefant and has served as a musical composer for a number of film and commercial projects.
